Abstract: On May 20, 2020, Professor Weixing Wan, a world renowned space scientist and planetary physicist, passed away. Prof. Wan was a space and planetary scientist with profound academic attainments, a great academic leader with excellent charisma, and a pioneer and founder of planetary physics.
