月尘运动与生物毒性研究进展

Recent progress in lunar dust migration and biological toxicity research

  • 摘要: 月尘易于发生迁移运动,影响月表和近月空间环境及月面物质成分分布. 研究月尘是认识水星、小天体等地外无大气天体表面尘埃形成机制、尘埃发射机理及运动规律的基础. 在航天工程上,月尘是任何月面探测活动都无法避免和必须应对的重要环境问题,是未来载人登月及月球基地建设的重要挑战. 前期探月任务中观测到了大规模的月尘活动,并据此开展了几十年的相关研究,但尘埃活动的物理机制仍有待进一步研究. 随着月球大气与尘埃环境探测(LADEE)专项任务、嫦娥工程月球探测任务等的实施,以及地面模拟实验的开展,国内外学者在月尘运动规律及其生物毒性等方面进行了一系列研究,取得了可喜的进展,本文对近期取得的重要成果进行简要介绍.

     

    Abstract: Lunar dust is easy to transport both vertically and horizontally, which affects the lunar surface material distribution, and the dusty plasma environment near the lunar surface. The large-scale lunar dust activity observed in the previous lunar exploration missions remains a scientific puzzle. The study of lunar dust formation, emission and migration mechanisms are crucial to understand the dust related phenomena on other airless bodies like Mercury and asteroids. In terms of engineering, lunar dust is an important environmental problem that cannot be ignored in any lunar surface exploration activities. It is an important challenge to deal with dust related problems during manned lunar landings and the construction of lunar bases. Although some progresses have been made after decades of research, some key scientific problems still need further study. Recently, with the implementation of various lunar exploration missions such as the LADEE mission and the Chang'E lunar exploration project, as well as the ground experiments, the transport rules and biological toxicity of lunar dust have been studied and new progresses have been made. This article briefly reviews the important results obtained in recent lunar dust research.
